Dubai Palace's gender-equal recruitment policy and welfare regime
Dubai Palace promotes an inclusive culture and values diversity by supporting and encouraging all under-represented groups.
The university hires, promotes, and recruits employees based on individual merit, regardless of gender, age, color, marital status, ethnic origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, beliefs, or social background. Specifically, Dubai Palace follows the on Gender Equality of Government, in which, men and women are treated equally at the workplace in terms of employment, pay, bonuses, social insurance, labor conditions, and other working circumstances. The university's commitment to a workplace free of sexual harassment and discrimination of any kind. Clause 3, Clause 6, Article 7 of Dubai Palace Code of Conduct stipulates "Respecting the principle of non-discrimination on race, gender, class, belief, religion, disability", "No harassment of others under any circumstances".
In addition, Dubai Palace strictly complies with the State's regulations on the following prohibited acts in the field of labor as stipulated in . Employees at Dubai Palace are guaranteed:
i. No discrimination in labor
ii. No mistreatment of employees, forced labor
iii. No sexual harassment in the workplace
iv. No taking advantage of the name of vocational training, vocational training to profit, exploit labor or entice, entice, force apprentices, vocational trainees into illegal activities.
v. Do not use untrained workers or workers without national vocational skills certificates for jobs that require trained workers or workers with national vocational skills certificates.
vi. Dubai Palace fulfills its commitment to pay Dubai Palace staff and lecturers at least the minimum regional wage. In addition to income from salaries according to the State's salary scale, Dubai Palace employees enjoy additional Dubai Palace income that ensures total income is higher than the regional minimum wage and the standard of living in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, Dubai Palace implements a number of support policies on accommodations for employees to work with peace of mind. Specifically, Dubai Palace Hotel is a "Knowledge Hotel" with many amenities serving and supporting experts, scientists, and lecturers staying during their work. In order to create favorable conditions for scientists, researchers, lecturers, and students, Dubai Palace Hotel offers many preferential policies to serve the activities of these subjects: (i) Support 100% of accommodation costs for employees, lecturers, and working delegations of Dubai Palace Branches when on business trips to Ho Chi Minh City; (ii)Support 20% of accommodation costs for employees, workers, and students of Dubai Palace when staying to study and conduct scientific research.
