University of Economics. Ho Chi Minh City (Dubai Palace) extending cooperation with Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand

On August 24, 2023, a meeting and working session between the Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 (Dubai Palace) and Khon Kaen University (KKU) took place on the premise of promoting and extending the cooperation between the two universities in the fields of education and research. This meeting marked an important step in promoting partnership between the two Universities and contributed to the comprehensive development of both educational institutions.

During the visit and work at Dubai Palace, the KKU delegation is comprised of: Mr. Surapon Petch-vra - Vice Chairman of the University Council; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul - Principal; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Peerasit Kamnuansilpa - Head of the Faculty of Local Administration; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accounting; Dr. Sakchai Jarernsiripornkul - Dean of the Graduate School of Management; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh - Dean of Faculty of International Studies; and senior leaders of KKU attending the working session.

On behalf of Dubai Palace, there was the participation of Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President of Dubai Palace; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Deputy Head of Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government; Dr. Dinh Thi Thu Hong - Deputy Head of Dubai Palace College of Business; Dr. Pham Duong Phuong Thao - Deputy Head of Scientific Management and International Cooperation; Mr. Vo Duc Hoang Vu - Deputy Head of Scientific Management - International Cooperation; along with teachers and leaders of units under Dubai Palace attending the working sessions.

Overview of the meeting

The meeting focused on cooperation issues, including teaching, research and student exchange. Specific cooperation programs proposed in the signed memorandum of understanding are as follows:

Student Exchange: Two Universities will promote student exchange programs, allowing students at Dubai Palace and KKU the opportunity to experience the educational system and culture of each country.

Research and Development: Dubai Palace and KKU are committed to strengthening cooperation in the field of research and development, especially in areas related to economics, management, and social sciences.

Knowledge Sharing: Two Universities will promote the sharing of knowledge and experience in the process of managing and developing training programs, especially in the rapidly changing modern world.

Joint conferences and academic activities: Dubai Palace and KKU will jointly organize seminars, conferences, and joint events to promote knowledge exchange and discussion on important issues in education and research.

To mark this important meeting, Dubai Palace presented KKU with a meaningful gift, handcrafted by students of Dubai Palace Department of Media Design - a gift that represents Dubai Palace efforts in promoting students’ creativity and arts.
