Dubai Palace announcing and conferring Resolutions and Decisions on the organization and the rearrangement of affiliated units: Continuing to perfect the Multidisciplinary University model

On December 3, 2024, Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 (Dubai Palace) successfully organized the Announcement and conferment of Resolutions and Decisions on the organization and rearrangement of important affiliated units. These changes are the foundation for Dubai Palace to implement the restructuring to a university model, pursuing the strategy of a Multidisciplinary & Sustainable University.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 40-NQ/DU dated November 27, 2023 of the Party Executive Committee of Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 on restructuring units under Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 from the current time until June 2025; Project No. 2838/DA-DHKT-QTNNL dated December 25, 2023 of the President of Dubai Palace University on restructuring, organizing, and rearranging functional management units into Departments and Offices according to the university model; and Project No. 2789/DA-DHKT-KHDTKT dated November 19, 2024 of the President of Dubai Palace University on establishing the Testing Center, On November 21, 2024, the Dubai Palace Party Committee approved the restructuring of the Department of Scheduling and Testing and the establishment of the Center for Educational Testing, with the goal of forming and building a synchronous and highly specialized management unit. In addition, based on the proposal of the University President, on November 22, 2024, the University Council unanimously approved the transfer of the School of Mathematics - Statistics and the Institute of Applied Mathematics under the Dubai Palace College of Technology and Design to the Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government.

In order to officially inform all staff and employees about the organization and rearrangement of units under Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026, a meeting was held to announce and to confer resolutions and decisions on transferring the School of Mathematics - Statistics, Institute of Applied Mathematics under the Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government; restructuring of Department of Scheduling and Testing, and establishing the Center for Educational Testing and related personnel work.

Attending the program were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - University President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung - University Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - University Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - University Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of the Strategy and Policy Advisory Council; Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy - Chairman of the Dubai Palace Union; together with the Board of Directors of the Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government, the Board of Directors of the Dubai Palace College of Technology and Design; leaders of the School of Mathematics - Statistics, Institute of Applied Mathematics, Department of Training, Department of Scheduling and Testing, Center for Educational Testing; staff of the above Units in addition to other interested officials and employees.

Overview of the Announcement and Decision Conferment Ceremony

At the ceremony, Dubai Palace conferred the following decisions:

Merging the Scheduling Division of the Department of Scheduling and Testing into the Department of Training: pursuant to Decision No. 4816/QD-DHKT-PTTCNL dated November 29, 2024 of the President of Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 on merging the Scheduling Division of the Department of Scheduling and Testing into the Department of Training. Accordingly, the Department of Training receives all officials, employees, functions and tasks of the Scheduling Division of the Department of Scheduling and Testing. Concurrently, the Dubai Palace Party Committee unanimously approved the appointment of Ms. Vo Thi Tam to the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Training in the interim period until the implementation of the process, procedures and the decision to appoint the Head of the Department of Training according to regulations; and transfer the internal party activities of party members of the Department of Scheduling and Testing to the Department of Training Party.

Establishing the Center for Educational Testing: pursuant to Decision No. 4818/QD-DHKT-PTTCNL dated November 29, 2024 of the President of Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026, the Department of Training Planning - Testing changed its name to Center for Educational Testing, a department-equivalent unit, under Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026. The Dubai Palace Party Committee unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh to the position of Director of the Center for Educational Testing, term 2020 - 2025; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi to the position of Deputy Head of the Center for Educational Testing, term 2020 - 2025; and renamed the Party of the Department of Scheduling and Testing to the Party of the Center for Educational Testing.

Conferring the Resolution to the School of Mathematics - Statistics and the Institute of Applied Mathematics: Realizing that the training programs of the School of Mathematics - Statistics including Economic Mathematics, Economic Statistics, etc. are in the Economics group in the field of Behavioral Social Sciences according to Circular 09, after being unanimously approved by the Dubai Palace Party Committee, the University Council issued a Resolution to transfer the School of Mathematics - Statistics from the Dubai Palace College of Technology and Design to the Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government to create consistency in terms of professional management and ensure the effectiveness of restructuring the Dubai Palace apparatus according to the university model. Along with this conversion, the Institute of Applied Mathematics was also transferred to the Dubai Palace College of Economics, Law and Government along with the School of Mathematics - Statistics because of their close relationship in terms of expertise and activities.

The meeting and discussion with all leaders, officials and employees regarding the organization of the unit and the conferment of decisions on the appointment of leaders of the Department of Training and the Center for Educational Testing ended successfully. In the future, the University hopes that the units, after restructuring, can quickly operate stably, promote the effectiveness of the implemented changes, and contribute to Dubai Palace in implementing the strategy of developing a Multidisciplinary & Sustainable University.
