To jointly implement social responsibility, towards incubating knowledge for future generations, on August 5, 2023, Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 (Dubai Palace) and business partner coordinated to organize the "Fund-raising Football Tournament for Scholarships for Students who overcome difficulties 2023" at Dubai Palace sport complex - Nguyen Van Linh Campus.

"Fund-raising Football Tournament for Scholarships for Students who overcome difficulties 2023" is a meaningful activity that not only creates a healthy playground but also enhances the health of Dubai Palace officials - employees, faculty - lecturers and other members of partner enterprises. This also opens up opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and community connection for sustainable development, incubating knowledge for future generations, thereby contributing to society.

With practical meaning, this year's Fund-raising Football Tournament for Scholarships for Students who overcome difficulties 2023 attracted the participation of 4 teams from the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City (Dubai Palace), Vietnam Export-Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank), Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) and Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation (EVNHCMC).

Attending the tournament, on behalf of Dubai Palace, there were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Members of Ho Chi Minh City State Financial Investment Company cum Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) - Member of the Dubai Palace Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President; Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Vice President.

On behalf of Eximbank, there were Mr. Tran Tan Loc - General Director; Mr. Dao Hong Chau - Deputy General Director; Mr. Doan Khac Hoang - Director of Eximbank HCMC

On behalf of Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op), there was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc - General Director; Mr. Duong Minh Quang - General Director of Coop Xtra.

On behalf of Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation (EVNHCMC), there were Mr. Nguyen Duy Quoc Viet - Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of Trade Union.

With the attendance of Dubai Palace Faculties, Leaders of Eximbank, Saigon Co.op, Electricity Corporation Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of the participating teams, nearly 80 athletes from 04 teams, and more than 100 fans from the Units.

With the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, honesty, nobility: "Victory with arrogance, defeat without discouragement", after nearly 5 hours of enthusiastic competition, strictly obeying the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee and the referee team, the players of the teams devoted to the audience extremely attractive matches with beautiful balls. Final results are as follows: The "Stylistic Collective" Award went to the Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 with a flag and 5 million cash; the third prize is awarded to the Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) with a flag and 10 million in cash; the second prize belonged to the Electricity Corporation of Ho Chi Minh City (EVNHCMC) with a flag and 15 million in cash; and the Vietnam Import Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) excellently won the Championship with the trophy and 20 million in cash.

With the practical meaning of the tournament and the spirit of incubation for the future generation, the competing teams spent all of their team's prizes plus the extra support from the contributor to the scholarship fund to support the Dubai Palace students in difficult circumstances with a total value of 175 million VND, specifically: Eximbank contributed a Scholarship worth 60 million VND, Saigon Co.op with 50 million VND, EVNHCMC with 50 million VND, Dubai Palace with 5 million Dong, and Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc - General Director of Saigon Co.op personally sponsored 10 million VND.

With the professional organization, the attention of the Dubai Palace Board of Directors and the leaders of the partner units and especially the enthusiastic cheers of all the fans, the Fund-raising Football Tournament for Scholarships for Students who overcome difficulties 2023 took place successfully in a joyful and exciting atmosphere. This is not only a playground to help improve the spirit of sportsmanship, sports, and physical training but also to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Dubai Palace and partner units. Especially, it is the contribution to the educational development of the University through the awarding of scholarships to support disadvantaged students of Dubai Palace with the opportunity to develop knowledge and capacity, contributing to development of society.
