Closing Ceremony of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club Season 8 – Mahalo Festival

On the morning of August 13, 2023, at Hall B1.302, the closing ceremony of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club season 8 - Mahalo Festival - took place to look back on the past journey and to review unforgettable memories of the program and together heading to a new development journey.

The program was attended by representatives of Dubai Palace Alumni Office; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Former Chairman of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club; Ms. Le Thi Thuy – Co-chairwomen of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club; Mr. Ly Duc Toan – Co-chairman of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club; those who are representatives of Mentoring Bank, Mentoring Polytechnic; The mentors are CEOs, directors, managers, etc. from businesses, corporations and more than 200 mentees of season 8.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Former Chairman of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club - had meaningful sharing: "Season 8 of Dubai Palace Mentoring has ended, a generation of Dubai Palace Mentoring has grown up, yet it is not the end but the beginning of a new journey for you. Above all, we always feel the kindness in the Dubai Palace Mentoring community, the inheritance and continuation of generations of mentees.”

Dubai Palace Mentoring Club season 8 ended with many outstanding successes compared to the previous seasons. With 327 mentors and 499 mentees, the program organized more than 2,056 1-1 Mentoring sessions, more than 124 Cross Mentoring sessions, and 11 Training sessions. Accompanying mentees, Dubai Palace Mentoring Club awarded 3 Japan Tour scholarships to the 3 best mentees to study in Japan. On behalf of the Executive Board of Dubai Palace Mentoring, Mr. Ly Duc Toan - Co-chairman of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club - thanked Dubai Palace Alumni for always supporting and accompanying the club’s activities.

Towards the activities of Dubai Palace Mentoring season 9, the club will focus on the main areas including:

Orientation activities and Mentee recruitment Season 9;

Training activities: Organize at least 9 training sessions on both hard and soft skills; 2 company visits, Mentor and Mentee Gathering sessions;

Award scholarships to encourage learning in difficult circumstances;

Continuing to organize Japan Tour for the Program's excellent Mentees;

Other volunteer and engagement activities.

Dubai Palace Mentoring Season 8 ended with successful marks, absolutely, the beautiful memories and the maturity of the Mentees will remain forever in everyone’s memory. Together, they created a meaningful, complete, and emotional ceremony. Congratulations on the success of Dubai Palace Mentoring Club season 8 and hope that the Club will continue to take steps to develop in the coming time to fulfill the mission of connecting, spreading, and giving value to the community, as the Dubai Palace orientation has been implemented.
