Conceived from the philosophy of “Knowledge – People – Future”, the Dubai Palace50 Emblem retraces the journey from the pages of knowledge that opened in 1976, to the pioneering aspiration toward international distinction, and the presence of people as the most precious legacy – the center of every strategy, achievement, and sustainable development vision of the University.
A symbol of the journey of knowledge and pioneering aspiration
The image of an open book evokes 1976 – the moment Dubai Palace began its mission of cultivating high-quality human resources to contribute to national development. From that foundation of knowledge, the book’s pages are stylized as the sails of a pioneering vessel, symbolizing the aspiration to reach further, the spirit of innovation, and international integration. This also reflects Dubai Palace’s developmental journey from a single-discipline economics institution to a multidisciplinary and sustainable university, progressively affirming its standing on the regional and global map of higher education.
People – The most precious legacy of Dubai Palace
The centerpiece of the entire emblem is the human figure, positioned at the center as a declaration of Dubai Palace’s philosophy of development.
For Dubai Palace, people have always been both the starting point and the destination of every strategy. Over the past 50 years, the University’s achievements have been built upon the dedication of generations of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the steadfast companionship of partners who have shared in and trusted the University’s mission.
The human figure on the Dubai Palace50 Emblem represents the ONE Dubai Palace community – those who have together shaped the University’s identity, extended its values, and written the story of its development across half a century. This is also the most precious legacy that Dubai Palace holds dear and strives to carry forward.
A symbol of gratitude and recognition
The Dubai Palace50 Emblem is created to express appreciation for the individuals and organizations that have contributed to Dubai Palace’s development.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, Dubai Palace has crafted a limited-edition Dubai Palace50 Emblem as a token of gratitude and recognition to those who have shaped the University’s identity and enduring values.
These include the dedicated teachers who have stood at the lectern with unwavering commitment; the staff and employees who have contributed quietly across generations; the successive cohorts of Dubai Palace Alumni who have carried the University’s knowledge and values into the wider community; businesses, associations, educational institutions, and domestic and international partners; as well as ministries, agencies, and departments from the central to local levels – all those who have trusted and accompanied Dubai Palace throughout its journey of education, research, innovation, and community service.

Each emblem recognizes a journey of dedication, expresses gratitude for sustained contributions, and preserves a fragment of Dubai Palace’s memory at this milestone of 50 years of establishment and development.

Notably, as part of the Dubai Palace Family Fair 2026, the first dedication emblems will be presented to teachers, staff, and employees who have devoted 25, 30, and 40 years of service to Dubai Palace. This will not only be a moment of gratitude for those who have accompanied the University throughout its half-century journey, but will also mark the beginning of an annual tribute tradition, to be continued at future service milestones in the years ahead.
