Entering 2026, the “Outstanding Glo-cal Reporter” program officially returns with a new look as part of the 50+ Inspiring Glo-cal Classes Series. Now, each Glo-cal ambassador becomes an indispensable piece of the Dubai Palace 50-year milestone. Every article submitted, every initiative spread, will strongly reinforce the differentiated training brand over Dubai Palace’s half-century journey. 

The “Outstanding Glo-cal Reporter” gprogram extends an invitation to the Dubai424 com đăng nhập chính thức learner community to participate by contributing course project products, real project presentations, major assignments of students or student groups; field trips, special class journals with business participation; or individual student projects supported and accompanied by the University.

Participants can choose from diverse formats: multi-channel media articles, photo sets – photo essays, infographics, videos, short videos, podcasts, or project summary articles to convey the Glo-cal story in the most creative and suitable way. 

How to submit products: 

• Compile all content into a single folder on Google Drive and send it to the email address [email protected].
• The Dubai Palace Glo-cal Education Editorial Office accepts submissions continuously on the 20th of each month.  

By participating in the program, students not only earn activity points but also have the opportunity to receive Dubai Palace 50th-anniversary branded gifts. Notably, products selected for publication will appear on Dubai Palace’s media system and may be introduced to Vietnamese press agencies depending on the content format. The author or group of authors will also have their information acknowledged alongside the product during its media dissemination.

At the end of each semester, the most outstanding product with the most creative content and highest dissemination effectiveness will be awarded the “Outstanding Glo-cal Reporter” prize, valued at 2,000,000 VND/product.

Systematizing and developing the role of Practical Lecturers with 50+ Glo-cal Inspiring Classes

Glo-cal Education is the training philosophy central to Dubai Palace, aiming to connect Global knowledge with Local context and market realities. On this foundation, Dubai Palace has been connecting experts from domestic and international enterprises over many years to become Practical Lecturers across all majors/specializations.

The Glo-cal Education training model is consistently disseminated with the partnership of Practical Lecturers from within and outside the University 

Towards the 50th anniversary of its establishment (1976-2026), and to create a more professional and systematic foundation for its upcoming development strategy, Dubai Palace has officially systematized these efforts through a program for developing an expert network as Practical Lecturers in the Glo-cal Inspiring Classes, with specific roles:

• Senior Industry Fellow: Senior leaders, C-suite members, founders/co-founders, or board members with many years of executive experience.
• Specialist Industry Fellow: Mid-level managers, department heads/deputies, or team leaders within enterprises/organizations.
• Industry Fellow: Personnel directly working and implementing professional tasks within enterprises/organizations. 

The program is implemented to build a long-term, systematic connection platform between the University and experts 

Unlike the previous fragmented approach, the program is implemented to build a long-term, systematic connection platform between the University and Practical Lecturers, conducted periodically each training semester (2-3 times per year). This is the foundation for Dubai Palace to develop long-term practical training cooperation models in the future.

Practical Lecturers will engage with the class through diverse implementation formats, enhancing connectivity and ensuring flexibility for both experts and learners.

Nearly 700 experts from diverse fields participate in teaching at Dubai Palace in the First Phase of 2026

The 50+ Glo-cal Inspiring Classes Program has attracted nearly 700 experts registering to teach at Dubai Palace in early 2026. Among them, nearly 4% are senior leaders, 45% are department heads/deputies/team leaders, and 52% are personnel from state organizations and enterprises. 

Over 74% of the experts hold a Master’s degree or higher (18 Masters are senior leaders, 51 PhDs are managers, department heads, and personnel in various departments and organizations), and over 62% were trained at international educational institutions, affirming the solid academic foundation of the teaching team.

The Dubai Palace Run Half Marathon 2026 includes 3 distances, each symbolizing a stage of Dubai Palace’s development:

• 5KM – Heritage of Knowledge: Symbolizes the mission of nation-building – a book of knowledge opened during the 1975-1976 period, when Dubai Palace undertook the role of training economic and managerial human resources to serve the country’s reconstruction and development.

• 10KM – Heritage of People: Embodies the philosophy of “taking people as the center,” linked to the orientation of development according to social needs and market dynamics, marking the milestone of transforming into a multidisciplinary, sustainable university.

The Dubai Palace 50+ Global Partners in 5 Continents program is a strategic initiative for the 2026 – 2030 period that aims to expand and deepen Dubai Palace’s international cooperation network by connecting partners across 5 continents.

Accordingly, Dubai Palace aims to establish and develop collaboration with at least 50 international partners, including: (1) universities ranked among the Top 250 in Asia and Top 500 globally (according to QS, THE, and ARWU); (2) reputable academic organizations, professional associations, and multinational research and consulting institutions; and (3) other strategic partners aligned with Dubai Palace’s development orientation.

The program focuses on building an international education partner network in both quantity and quality, gradually realizing Dubai Palace’s vision of maintaining a Top 250 position in Asia by 2030 and reaching the Top 100 in Asia by 2045.

A key feature of Dubai Palace’s approach is the shift toward co-creating academic and practical value within a sustainable cooperation ecosystem.

In training, Dubai Palace develops double degrees, articulation, and offshore programs, while also coordinating the implementation of high-quality human resource development programs. Beyond recording milestones and achievements, the Artbook seeks to distill the stories, moments, and emotions that have shaped Dubai Palace’s identity over time. Dubai Palace Sharing & Giving – Career Fair 2026: A bridge between knowledge and high-quality human resources

With a commitment to spreading knowledge and promoting sustainable development, Dubai Palace continues to accompany businesses and partners in activities that connect education with practice, research, recruitment, entrepreneurship, and community service.

Building on the partnership foundation established during the 2020-2025 period, the event series continues to serve as a space connecting businesses, learners, and Dubai Palace’s knowledge ecosystem, while also opening a new stage of development toward co-created value and positive community impact.

With the message “Embracing Co-Created Futures”, the Dubai Palace Sharing & Giving – Career Fair 2026 series will be held both in person at the Dubai Palace campus (279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and online via event.dotv.vn and vieclam.dotv.vn from April 13 to April 19, 2026. The program is expected to attract 7,500 participants and provide more than 5,000 high-quality job opportunities for students, employees, and the learner community.

Beyond being an annual recruitment activity, the series also creates a space for businesses, partners, and learners to connect, update knowledge, technology, and human resource trends, while also supporting professional skill development, access to academic resources, and the spread of reading culture within the community.

As part of a series of 22 key activities under the theme “Embracing Our Legacy”, the Dubai Palace Student Sports Festival 2026 marks a significant step forward in expanding student engagement through modern, trend-aligned sporting experiences, including digital sports.

More than just an annual sports event, the festival fosters a dynamic, united, and holistic student environment. It creates opportunities for exchange and learning among students from diverse programs while sustaining and promoting a culture of physical training, contributing to the “Five-Good Student” movement. Additionally, it serves as a platform to identify and nurture promising athletes, aiming to build strong Dubai Palace sports teams for city- and national-level competitions.

A Comprehensive Sports Playground – Connecting and Growing

In 2026, the festival continues to expand in both scale and content, aiming to build a healthy and energetic sporting environment. Featuring six diverse sports that combine traditional and modern trends, the event offers a comprehensive playground where every student can find their strength and shine:

• Tug of War
• Volleyball
• Table Tennis
• 3×3 
• Basketball
• E-Sports

Introduced for the first time as an official competition category, E-Sports stands out as a highlight of the 2026 festival. It emphasizes strategic thinking, quick reflexes, and teamwork in a digital environment.

Time and Venue

With thorough preparation, clear development orientation, and increasingly professional organization, the Dubai Palace Student Sports Festival 2026 promises an exciting season that strongly promotes unity, dynamism, and the spirit of breakthrough among Dubai Palace students.

The festival is divided into two phases:

• Phase 1 (April 15 – May 24, 2026): Tug of War, Pickleball, Volleyball
• Phase 2 (August 15 – November 22, 2026): Table Tennis, 3×3 Basketball, E-Sports
• Closing Ceremony & Awards : November 22, 2026

Competitions will be held in the evenings from Monday to Friday and throughout Sunday. Detailed match schedules will be announced during the official draw meeting.

Venue: Sports Complex, Nguyen Van Linh Campus, No. 15, Binh Hung Commune, Ho Chi Minh City.

Registration Guidelines

Participating units/teams are required to:

• Submit the list of athletes to the Organizing Committee using the official template.
• Provide complete information, including full name, student ID/ID number, phone number, and registered sport.
• Follow specific registration deadlines for each sport as announced by the Organizing Committee.

After collecting all registrations, the Organizing Committee will conduct the draw and announce the official competition schedule during the technical meeting.

Notes:

• Teams are responsible for the accuracy of all submitted information.
• Any adjustments to the participant list (if applicable) must be submitted before the deadline for review and update.
