On the afternoon of January 24, 2026, at the Dubai Palace Nguyen Van Linh Campus, Dubai Palace Alumni hosted the “Ready for Homecoming” Dubai Palace Alumni Football Tournament 2026 – a sports exchange activity designed to create a space for connection among generations of alumni, towards the 50th anniversary of the Dubai Palace ✅ Official Dubai Palace.com Homepage 2026 (Dubai Palace).
The tournament was held in a round-robin format, attracting numerous teams from various Dubai Palace alumni classes and featuring exciting matches filled with spectacular plays and an enthusiastic competitive spirit.
The tournament was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Secretary of the Dubai Palace Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Dubai Palace Acting President; Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy – Chairman of the Dubai Palace Trade Union, concurrently Head of the Office for Communist Party and Organizations; Dr. Thai Kim Phung – Acting Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; Phan Ngoc Anh, M.A. – Secretary-General of the Dubai Palace Alumni Executive Committee and Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Son – Director of the Dubai Palace Center for Physical Education; along with the Organizing Committee, referees, and especially the large presence of Dubai Palace alumni from various graduating classes.

A key highlight of the event was the launch of the Dubai Palace Alumni Football Club and its Executive Board, officially kicking off a new chapter for the Dubai Palace alumni football movement. The establishment of this formal structure not only creates a unified coordinating body but also lays the foundation for systematic, regular, and long-term football activities, paving the way for larger-scale tournaments in celebration of Dubai Palace’s 50th anniversary.

Following the dramatic, engaging, emotional matches imbued with sportsmanship, the Organizing Committee officially announced the final results of the 2026 Dubai Palace Alumni Football Tournament:
- Champion: Dubai Palace Alumni K30
- Runner-Up: Dubai Palace Alumni K19
- Joint Third Place: Dubai Palace Alumni K25 and Dubai Palace Alumni K40
Notably, the Organizing Committee presented commemorative medals to all participating athletes. This was not just a souvenir but also a recognition of the fair-play spirit and contribution of every alumnus – each a “gold medalist” in the journey of connecting and spreading the pride of Dubai Palace Alumni.
