Our combined experience of over 40+ years in the industry and an appetite for continual improvement has enabled us to ensure our partners are positioned for long term success.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client provides an exceptional level of independent accounting, fund administration, taxation, and registry services to a diverse range of clients, from start-ups through to established industry.<\/p>\n<p>Currently they are looking for a Fund Accountant to support the team onshore in Australia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all client deliverables are in line with service agreements<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of accounting records including entering transactions into Reckon (experience helpful but not essential) accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Processing of investor transactions<\/li>\n<li>Tax compliance including distribution calculations and BAS returns<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with external auditors and service providers<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of annual Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of periodical management reporting packs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 \u2013 5 years of General Accounting experience; Balance Sheet, P&amp;L, Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, Financial Statements, Full spectrum of reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive Experience in Fund Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Relevant qualifications in accounting and\/or finance (CPA\/CA qualified or willingness to study CPA\/CA preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Has experience working with Offshoring Clients<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills;<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong discipline in record keeping;<\/li>\n<li>Understand the importance of confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good phone ethic<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills;<\/li>\n<li>Show initiative in suggesting process improvements \u2013 questioning not accepting<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver accurate and timely work in accordance with deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>A team player and also able to work independently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ASW Offers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>We are experts in offshoring partnerships.
