Audit Associate<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"no-narrow-text career-description\">\n<p>In order to meet the demand of our growing practices, we\u2019re looking for a qualified candidate to fill in a position of\u00a0<strong>Audit Associate<\/strong>\u00a0supporting the Audit &amp; Assurance Services of our Ho Chi Minh City office. Detailed tasks of and required qualifications for this position are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Role Purpose:<\/strong>\u00a0To work as part of a team, effectively and efficiently carrying out audit assignments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completes audit procedures by following the audit programme, audit manual and the firm\u2019s risk management policies and procedures, consulting with colleagues as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Reports any potential ethical breaches to in-charge seniors, managers and partners, making suggestions of how to address them.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with all aspects of the audit process, including planning, fieldwork and completion.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and understand the rationale for the audit strategy adopted.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates any technical or administrative issues with senior team members where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Develops good working relationships with client staff with whom you will have most contact; including being able to discuss accounting and auditing concepts clearly, logically and consistently.<\/li>\n<li>Is able to answer day to day audit queries from clients after getting consult with seniors, managers and partners appropriately demonstrating good judgement.<\/li>\n<li>Able to inform clients of new standards that will affect their business.<\/li>\n<li>Addresses, researches and proposes firm conclusions in respect of technical and audit issues affecting the client.<\/li>\n<li>Obtains an understanding of the client\u2019s business and analyses client issues, reaching logical conclusions by applying theory to practice and appreciate the implication to potential audit issues.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive in managing client expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a credible and professional relationship with colleague at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to receive and capable of responding to constructive feedback \u2013 asks for and acts upon feedback from seniors, managers and partners.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures jobs are fully completed by agreed deadlines unless renegotiated with the senior\/manager in advance.<\/li>\n<li>Agrees time for each assignment in advance and is able to evaluate time spent in this context.<\/li>\n<li>Exercises judgement as to whether audit work has been completed to an appropriate level.<\/li>\n<li>Completes job evaluation after completion of audit engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired competencies<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Initiative<\/strong>: Demonstrate a thirst to understand how your role fits in and seeks opportunities to contribute beyond own role.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adaptability<\/strong>: Shows agility and easily adjusts to changing work situations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ownership<\/strong>: Takes responsibility for own actions and learns from experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience\/Qualification\/Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree specialized in accounting and auditing;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English, both oral and written;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in basis accounting and auditing standards, tax laws and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your application, resume must be in English;<\/li>\n<li>Name your file with quoting reference (<strong>Application \u2013 Audit Associate \u2013 HCMC Office<\/strong>);<\/li>\n<li>The total document file size must not exceed 2MB;<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for submission is<strong>\u00a023 August 2021 with urgent basis;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Application &amp; CV to be sent to:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:hr.recruitment@vn.gt.com\">hr.recruitment@vn.gt.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>II.
