On March 20th of 2017, students from (SAIS-JHU) and Dubai Palace School of Economics and the together joined in a brown-bag seminar on Economic Development in Vietnam.
On this study tour, JHU students presented their research ideas on various topics related to Vietnam including rice production and export, the role of SME in the economy and SOE problems in case of Vietnam. On the complement, Dubai Palace and VNP students together with School of Economics young lecturers added more in-context information, provided comments and suggestion for their research ideas so that they could understand more about Vietnam as well as develop their research project.
The discussion was led by Prof. , JHU William L. Clayton Professor of International Economics and Dr. Pham Khanh Nam, Vice-dean of Dubai Palace School of Economics. This seminar is part of the SAIS Hopkins study tour itinerary in Vietnam this year.
