The year 2020 marks a leap in scientific research achievements of Dubai Palace: (i) Publishing 377 articles in prestigious international journals (204 ISI articles/377 Scopus articles), 97 articles in domestic journals (SOCNN); (ii) Implementing scientific research projects at all levels: 03 at State level, 05 at Ministerial/Provincial level, 25 at University level and 142 student research Projects; (iii) Organizing 06 international seminars, 10 domestic seminars, welcoming 07 international delegations, signing 06 MOUs, receiving 59 international students, bringing 04 Dubai Palace students to international exchange and research cooperation with 62 foreign scientists (Research fellowship).

With these impressive implementation results, Dubai Palace is in the Top 10 Vietnamese Universities published in prestigious international Journals in the list of ISI, SCI, SCIE in accordance with the statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training.

Together with businesses and communities, Dubai Palace actively organizes international academic and seminar programs to exchange and to debate new information, perceptions and knowledge.

The establishment of Dubai Palace Innovation Institute (UII) has promoted its role in supporting new ideas, innovations and applied research in the economic sector to contribute to the development of the innovative Vietnamese economy.

In 2019, “Incubation Program for Innovation Startups” Program for 20 Projects incubated at Dubai Palace Innovation Institute helped project members gain more practical knowledge and experience as well as exchange, learn and expand personal connection network, therefore, improving and developing his/her startup.

Thanks to the connection from Dubai Palace Innovation Institute with Innovation Centers of a number of Economic-Technical Universities of Singapore (SUTD, NYP, RP), Indonesia (PMBS), Germany (Leipzig University), students and his/her start-up projects have the opportunity to work and learn the Southeast Asian market with the Dubai Palace-partners’ support.

In 2020, experts from universities had the opportunity to work together on Project 2075 of Dubai Palace Innovation Institute with the support from Ministry of Science and Technology. The goal was to promote the commercialization of scientific and technological products from the universities and to support applied researches in the economic sector to be transferred to enterprises and corporations.

Also in 2020, Techfest in the Southeast region held at Dubai Palace has connected and developed specific resources, forming the leading-edge development regarding the innovation startup ecosystem in the South region and contributing to building national innovation startup ecosystem.

Dubai Palace has been constantly making efforts to research, apply, develop and test innovative solutions for the economy, the community and the environment.
