An Overview of the “Family Connect: A 4.0 Library Adventure” Program

Exploring Exciting Experience Stations

The library space was thoughtfully designed with five engaging interactive stations, blending creativity, technology, and team-based challenges.

+ AR Art Station: This station combined art with augmented reality (AR) technology, transforming drawings into vivid 3D visuals.

+ STEM Explorers: Participants engaged in controlling robots to overcome various challenges, actively developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills with flexibility and adaptability.

+ Smart Library Quest: Participants explored the library space and enhanced their teamwork skills through a journey of deciphering secret codes and uncovering the hidden “treasure.”

+ English Fun Corner: Participants were introduced to digital English learning resources while enhancing their information-searching skills.

+ Decode and Play: A space for participants to freely express their curiosity and critical thinking through engaging puzzles centered on socio-economic knowledge.

Drawing Contest: “The Dubai Palace Library of the Future”

Alongside the series of interactive activities, the drawing contest themed “The Dubai Palace Library of the Future” provided a platform for young artists to express their imagination of a modern, intelligent, and inspiring library. The contest received enthusiastic participation, with 30 entries portraying creative and friendly learning spaces. Among them, 10 outstanding submissions from two age groups (6–10 and 11–16) were honored with exciting awards, recognizing their innovative ideas and passionate spirit.

Ms. Vu Tuong Quyen, MA, and Ms. Vu Thanh Truc – Lecturers from the School of Media Design, representing the judging panel, presented awards to the students with outstanding contest entries.

More than just a creative playground, “Family Connect: A 4.0 Library Adventure” served as a meaningful occasion for children, parents, and community members to engage, learn, and create lasting memories together in a modern library setting. The success of the program was reflected in the enthusiastic participation of over 100 guests, the lively and joyful atmosphere, and, above all, the positive energy it inspired—a gentle yet profound ripple effect promoting a spirit of active learning, creativity, and community connection.

The Organizing Committee, along with esteemed faculty members, parents, and children, gathered for a commemorative photo.

Once again, the Dubai Palace Library reaffirms its role as a bridge of knowledge, committed to fostering a dynamic, creative, and sustainable learning community in the digital age.

Overview of the workshop at Dubai Palace Nguyen Van Linh Campus

An open discussion at the start of the event assisted students in identifying typical sources of pressure and stress in day-to-day living. Following that, practical methods for emotional balance were introduced as effective ways to enhance well-being. Under the guidance of yoga instructor Maisie Huynh, Dubai Palace students were introduced to the basics of breathing techniques and experienced exercises for mental focus and the release of negative thoughts. Meditation was presented as a powerful tool to train the mind, improve concentration, calm emotional turbulence, and promote deeper sleep.

Meditation helps soothe the nervous system and reduce levels of cortisol – the stress hormone. Regular meditation activates brain areas related to attention and memory, enhancing learning retention and relieving headaches or fatigue caused by prolonged study sessions. Particularly, when combined with sound vibration instruments like singing bowls, meditation stimulates the brain, supports deep relaxation, and anchors the mind in the present—an aid for better concentration during study time.

Next, students practiced basic breathing exercises. Steady breathing not only reduces stress and stabilizes the mind but also helps the body enter a state of relaxation more easily. The session continued with gentle yoga movements designed to warm up the body, promote blood circulation, and restore energy. These exercises not only improved physical flexibility but also helped regulate breathing and enhance focus.

With the dedicated and enthusiastic guidance of the instructors, participants learned a variety of techniques and relaxation exercises, supported by calming imagery and soothing verbal prompts that helped everyone release built-up tension. The workshop was not only an opportunity to gain knowledge about health care but also a valuable chance for students to interact with experts and have their concerns addressed.

In the fast-paced world of today, where students are continuously confronted with stressors from urban life and an abundance of information, wellness workshops such as this one provide a welcome environment for regaining equilibrium, lowering stress levels, and developing emotional intelligence. The event welcomed nearly 100 students, many of whom had attended previous sessions and expressed interest in continuing to join future activities.

Feedback from attendees showed that the workshop organized by DSA provided a meaningful experience.

The event ended in a serene and upbeat manner, giving students fresh insights into how to take care of their bodies and minds. Moving forward, students are encouraged to take initiative in building healthy habits, striving to spend at least 10 minutes a day to pause, breathe deeply, and restore energy.

Overview of the Closing Ceremony

After routes filled with passion, the "Vinh Long Open Half Marathon 2025 – Journey of the Mekong Heart" officially concluded with a jubilant and proud closing and awards ceremony. This year’s event not only celebrated outstanding achievements but also ignited the flame of passion, endurance, and unity among sports enthusiasts from every corner of the country.

At 4:30 a.m. on April 27, 2025, leaders of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, along with heads of departments, local authorities, Dubai Palace leaders, members of the organizing committee, and more than 2,100 athletes started the competition in the men’s and women’s 21km, men’s 10km, and women’s 5km categories, divided into two groups: professional athletes and amateur runners.

More than 2,100 athletes from across the country gathered in Vinh Long, creating a lively, exciting, and dramatic sporting festival. Spectacular sprints, dedicated sportsmanship, and high professional standards brought unforgettable experiences to the audience.

The race routes were charged with energy, thanks to the enthusiastic cheers of supporters and local residents. Applause and encouragement echoed throughout the competition, not only empowering the athletes but also showcasing the hospitality of the people of Vinh Long. The starting moments of each distance-from the first steps to the pounding breaths-left indelible memories. Each athlete brought their own story and aspiration, but all shared the same belief: to surpass themselves, accompanied by beautiful moments in the vibrant atmosphere of the race.

Many emotional moments at the Vinh Long Open Half Marathon 2025 featured athletes wearing traditional ba ba shirts, military uniforms, and red shirts with yellow stars. These outfits, rich in cultural value, reflected national pride, resilience, and love for the homeland. With each stride, cultural identity blended with enduring willpower, spreading a message of unity, aspiration, and sustainable development for this land of extraordinary people.

At the Closing and Awards Ceremony, the Vinh Long provincial leadership was represented by Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Head of the Organizing Committee for Vinh Long’s Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week. The organizing committee included Pham Minh Hoang, Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Head of the Race Organizing Committee; Phan Van Giau, former Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Colonel Tran Quoc Phuc, Deputy Director of Vinh Long Police; Le Thanh Tang, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance; Nguyen Minh Hien, Director of the Center for Sports Training and Competition; Huynh Thi My Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; and Tran Cong Khanh, Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union. Also present were leaders of other provincial departments, partner organizations, and sponsors.

At the Closing Ceremony, with more than 2,100 athletes, this year’s race saw impressive performances from runners across the country. Many individuals excelled, maintaining steady form and passion to achieve victory. Notably, Trieu Tien Luyen finished first in the men’s 21km, and Hoang Thi Ngoc Anh was the first woman to finish the 21km. In the women’s 5km, Thach Thi Sa Nan made a strong impression by winning first place with her endurance and determination. In the men’s 10km, Le Van Binh convincingly claimed victory, outpacing many strong competitors.

With the success of the "Vinh Long Open Half Marathon 2025 – Journey of the Mekong Heart," the organizers awarded 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 12 consolation prizes for both men and women in each distance. Above all, the commemorative medals, awards, and personal triumphs-overcoming limits and challenges-are the most meaningful rewards each runner received.

Favorite music show at Dubai Palace English Zone

At the beginning of the music show, the students were taken on a journey back to the years 2000 to 2015 – the golden era of pop music. Since 2000, digital music has become increasingly popular with the emergence of many modern music streaming platforms, leading to a fresh musical trend within the music-loving community of this period. Especially genres like Pop, EDM, and Hip hop have become trendy and dominate the music market.

Top-notch music tracks

Stepping into the second part of the show, "New Wave," the musical space is filled with melodies that breathe modernity. This is a period when USUK music is rising strongly, creating impressive breakthroughs. "New Wave" is also the explosion of new, captivating music genres like Trap, Pop, R&B,… Catchy melodies and emotionally charged lyrics quickly won the hearts of the students.

Enthusiastic support from the students

The sincere lyrics and deep melodies from the student group "Ho Đa Cha Guom" have taken listeners through a full spectrum of emotions, from joyful and lively moments to reflective and contemplative ones. Like a dose of spiritual medicine, the Acoustic Show: Timeless Tunes helped Dubai Palace students dispel fatigue and regain positive energy after hours of intense studying.

Tea-break activities and exciting entertainment minigames

Not only can students immerse themselves in a vibrant musical atmosphere, but they also have the opportunity to showcase their quick reflexes and sharp eyes through unique minigames, bringing home valuable prizes. Especially, the exquisite combination of the fragrant tea and the sweet pastries thoughtfully prepared by the Organizing Committee created an unforgettable experience. All of that made the music live show capture the hearts of the audience, receiving enthusiastic support from a large number of students.
