(2015) proposed an analytical framework for \u201cdigital professionalism\u201d based on three core concepts as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Proficiency:<\/strong> How effectively do you use digital tools?<\/li><li><strong>Reputation:<\/strong> How do others perceive you in the digital environment?<\/li><li><strong>Responsibility:<\/strong> Are you conscious of what you share and leave behind?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How does a digital footprint affect recruitment?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s employers not only assess professional competence through degrees or work experience but also consider candidates\u2019 attitudes, personal values, and public behavior through online channels. According to a 2023 survey by ResumeBuilder, 73% of employers use social media to evaluate candidates, primarily to confirm cultural fit and verify information on CVs.
