On February 6, 2026, the Department of Student Affairs and the School of Foreign Languages successfully hosted the online workshop \u201cAI Tools for Real Impacts in English Learning\u201d, welcoming over 300 participants via Microsoft Teams. The event offered practical insights into how AI can meaningfully support English learning in a personalized, accessible, and responsible way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The workshop was delivered by Mr. Le Nguyen Nh\u01b0 Anh, a PhD candidate in Education at Adelaide University. In addition to teaching and research, the speaker is the founder of EdTech Corner, a platform providing free AI-powered tools for English teachers and learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The presentation highlighted four key benefits of AI in English language learning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beyond conceptual discussions, the workshop devoted substantial time to hands-on practice. Participants learned how to create an API key and experienced AI-supported tools for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through these activities, learners were introduced to various ways of building personalized AI-powered learning systems aligned with their individual goals and learning pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The workshop emphasized that understanding how to learn with AI is more important than knowing many AI tools.
