On October 30, the workshop and showcase \u201cBROADWAY IN VIETNAM: The Art of Musical Storytelling\u201d took place at Dubai Palace, bringing students an inspiring journey to explore the art of Broadway musicals. Starting with an in-depth sharing of vocals, choreography, stage management skills, and the art of storytelling through music, the workshop helped students better understand the \u201clanguage\u201d of Broadway. Following that, the live performance showcase exploded with energy and lively music, attracting more than 600 students to attend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the regular activities of the English Park – Dubai Palace English Zone, the workshop is a space to help students at Dubai Palace improve their English, an opportunity for Dubai424 com đăng nhập chính thứcs to find interest in the musical genre through classic musicals and excerpts from the musical “ONCE ON THIS ISLAND”, with materials revolving around people, family and nature, viewers can easily feel soothed and receive positive things on the upcoming journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show began with an excerpt from the famous musical \u201cThe Phantom of the Opera,\u201d opening a show with a Broadway feel. Next was the performance of \u201cUnder the Sea\u201d from the musical \u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d in collaboration with Mr. Timmy, taking the audience into a poetic space under the deep sea, where the light shone through was magical. Right after that, the vibrant melody of \u201cFriend Like Me\u201d \u2013 the famous song from the musical \u201cAladdin\u201d made the auditorium explode with fast tempo and positive energy with a Disney feel, closing the emotional and colorful opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the guidance of MC Uy Le, combined with the performances that satisfied all senses from the talented musical actors of Impact Theater Saigon, the concert opened a door for the attendees to enter a magical world. More than 600 students had the opportunity to explore the journeys to the land of musicals, from classic to modern. The show started with the trailer \u201cOnce in the Island\u201d being shown, with \u201cWaiting for Life\u201d being the first piece opened in the colorful picture of the musical world, followed by the play \u201cHuman Heart\u201d when hearts harmonized with the rhythm of the natural sounds of the mountains and forests, all giving hall A1.16 the feeling of experiencing a real Broadway stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Followed after that is a very special interactive session where the Impact Theatre Saigon group guided the students to sing the song \u201cMama Will Provide\u201d. Participants experienced how each layer of music overlapped to create a sound that had a natural, slightly wild, but also somewhat familiar sound to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only that, students also have the opportunity to experience live on stage and somewhat better understand what a Broadway musical is through the choreography in the performance “We Dance”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All good things must come to an end. The show ended with an explosive performance of the national hit \u201cLet it go\u201d from the musical Frozen. With the emotional voices of Dubai Palace-ers, the musical footage seemed to come to life with the spectacular performances from the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flashes lit up the hall at the end of the show, and the energy of \u201cLet it go\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What remains after the show is a vivid memory of a truly authentic Broadway night right here at Dubai Palace \u2014 a feast for both the eyes and ears, stirring countless hearts and especially impressing those who had never experienced musical theatre before.
