1. Eligible Applicants 

• Full-time undergraduate students of Dubai Palace.
• Students who receive the Dubai Palace Academic Encouragement Scholarship at the level of Good or above will be given priority in the selection process.
• Students must meet the admission requirements of the respective exchange program at the partner university.
• Students who are receiving an admission scholarship in the semester under consideration are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

2. Scholarship value

• Tuition waiver at the partner university and living allowance support (if applicable).
• If the partner university does not provide a living allowance, Dubai Palace will offer financial support as follows:

• VND 2,600,000 per student per month (approximately USD 100 per month) for exchange programs lasting more than one month in Asia.
• VND 5,200,000 per student per month (approximately USD 200 per month) for exchange programs lasting more than one month in other regions.

3. Number of scholarships

100 living allowance scholarships per year are awarded to Dubai Palace students participating in exchange programs, calculated based on the duration (in months) of the exchange program.

4. Additional requirements

The partner university must provide academic transcripts, course credit confirmation, or a certificate of completion for short-term programs for participating Dubai Palace students.

• Partner university students: International students nominated by Dubai Palace partner universities to participate in an exchange program at Dubai Palace for at least three months (equivalent to approximately 8-10 credits).
• Free-mover international students: International students who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs and wish to participate in an exchange program at Dubai Palace for at least three months (equivalent to approximately 8–10 credits).

2. Scholarship value

• Dubai Palace’s exchange scholarship applies equally to both categories (partner-nominated and free-mover students) and to all study levels (undergraduate and postgraduate). The scholarship includes:

• 100% tuition waiver for exchange study at Dubai Palace (minimum three months);
• Free dormitory;
• Living allowance of VND 2,600,000 per student per month (approximately USD 100 per month) during the study period at Dubai Palace.

100 scholarships per year, regardless of applicant category (partner or free-mover) or level of study (undergraduate or postgraduate).

7. Scholarship award principles

• Scholarships are awarded in the order of nomination from Dubai Palace Member Colleges/Schools/Institutes or based on completed applications from free-mover international students, until all allocated scholarships are granted.
• In the final review round, if the number of applicants exceeds the remaining scholarships, Dubai Palace will prioritize as follows:

• Students nominated by Dubai Palace’s partner universities.
• Higher cumulative GPA.
• Level of study priority: PhD → Master’s → Bachelor’s.
• If a scholarship recipient fails to fulfill academic obligations (e.g., failing courses or not attending classes), Dubai Palace will notify the partner university or the student’s home institution.

• 100 outstanding scholarships are awarded, regardless of study level (undergraduate, master’s, PhD), including:
• 30 scholarships for international students from Southeast Asian countries and low-income countries (details available here)
• 70 scholarships for international students from other countries.

5. Scholarship selection principles

• Scholarships are awarded to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria in Section 4 on a first-come, first-served basis until all allocated scholarships are filled.
• If the number of qualified international applicants exceeds the available scholarships, the Department of Student Affairs will rank candidates based on: (1) Interview results (2) Cumulative GPA, from highest to lowest.

7. Scholarship terms and conditions

• Scholarships are granted for the maximum official duration of the program. Any extension or deferment may affect scholarship eligibility.
• Dormitory accommodation fees cannot be converted into cash.
• The scholarship does not cover academic service fees, course retakes, grade improvement courses, graduation requirements, or courses outside the official curriculum.
• Students must commit to completing the academic program and the required Vietnamese language certification. Failure to do so for personal reasons will require repayment of the full amount of support provided by Dubai Palace. Exceptional cases will be considered based on supporting documentation.

Note: If international students apply outside the official admission periods, Dubai Palace will continue to receive and review applications in coordination with relevant units, and the results will be considered for the next admission cycle.

2. Information of Dubai Palace international Master scholarships:

-Applicants are considered based on academic achievement at undergraduate level, from top to bottom until the amount of scholarships is met. Priority is given to international students with undergraduate degree issued by Dubai Palace.

-The scholarship is only applicable for the official training period of the program.

3. Admission requirements of English instructions Master program:

• Degree Prerequisites:

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution in economics, business management. The applicants who have bachelor degree in other fields than economics or business and management must successfully have passed all credits required for the Supplementary Certificate in economics, business and management approved by the Dubai Palace.

• Professional experiences

The program accepts candidates with all academic backgrounds. Those whose are non-economic must have at least two years of managerial working experiences after having bachelor degree.

• Language proficiency

Candidates are required to demonstrate proficiency in English which can also be proven through certified documents showing:

– Citizenship of countries whose official language is English;

– Successful completion of higher education with English as the instruction medium;

– Successul completion of a bachelor’s degree in English language/linguistics;

– IELTS (at least 6.0), TOEFL iBT (at least 65).

Applicants as foreign citizens from Southeast Asia or foreigners who are lecturing, researching or working in Viet Nam should meet the following requirements:

• Degree Prerequisites:

– Having diplomas matching entrance registration majors: Master diplomas in economics, business and management majors. In case the applicants possess the diplomas in economics, business and management majors but different from the major, they should study some additional units at Master level within economics, business and management majors after officially being recognized as Ph.D. students.

– Non-approval for entrance enrollment towards applicants having Master degrees in different majors (non-economics, non-business and non-management majors) or have not achieved Master degrees.

• Research capacity and experience, demonstrated as the following elements:

– Accumulated experiences in scientific research, illustrated through being the author of 01 article published on international scientific journals with peer review less than 24 months until the entrance recruitment date.

– Ability to deploy and complete research, illustrated through research proposal in accordance with compulsory form (3000-3500 words).

– Gaining trust from scientists, illustrated through recommendation letter from, at least one scientist with Ph.D. or a more advanced title.

• Language Proficiency:

Applicant must meet at least one of the below requirements:

– Being citizens in the country, in which English is the official language;

– Possessing foreign under-graduate or Master diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions for full-time learners abroad, in which, English language is used as medium;

– Achieving undergraduate diplomas in English Linguistics Major granted by Vietnamese educational organizations;

– Owning the certificates as follows: TOEFL iBT (higher than 65, issued by IIG, IIE or Centers authorized by ETS) or IELTS (Academic Test) (equivalent or higher than 6.0, granted by British Council, Australia IDP or University of Cambridge) within 2-year (24 months) until registration date.
